The Gulls' Eggs Manchester Luncheon - Macmillan Cancer Support

A truly unique fundraising and networking luncheon for Manchester city professionals.

The Luncheon is a unique and special event which provides the perfect opportunity for socialising and networking with your business colleagues during an informal standing lunch.

Macmillan has successfully hosted the Gulls’ Eggs Luncheon in Manchester for over 200 guests in the opulent surroundings of Manchester Town Hall for the last four years. It has grown from a gathering of 60 guests to over 220 delegates enjoying the rare delicacy of black headed gulls’ eggs, along with the traditional accompaniments of smoked salmon, cheese and fruit cake.

The Luncheon emulates the London event which has been running for over 25 years and raised important and crucial funds for Macmillan.

Since launching in Manchester, city professionals in and around the Spinningfields area of the city have used the event to network and socialise with peers and at the same time raise important funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in the area.

The income raised from the event in 2013 was restricted to part funding a Macmillan Acute Oncology Nurse Specialist in Manchester General Hospital. We know that by 2030 the number of people living with and beyond cancer in Greater Manchester will nearly fill Old Trafford twice. Now more than ever we need your support in the North West and to attend events such as this lunch to help people living with and affected by cancer.
