New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week was the world's first ever organised fashion week in 1943, originally called "Press Week", and is when international fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press and the general public. This biannual series of events includes the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York, along with other numerous branded events and independent fashion productions around town. New York is the first of the big four fashion weeks, with London, Milan and Paris following.
