Bentley Launch New Luxury Fragrance Infinite

Bentley Launched their new fragrances, Infinite and Infinite Intense, at the Sky Garden, in the Walkie Talkie London last night.
It was a glittering affair with a host of luxury brands and press. The Sky Garden is a massive multi floored framework of steel and stone, stretched over an imposing space. It was supposed to be a towering garden in the proposed plans, but many of the intended trees got lost in the execution, so it is more dramatic than natural in its ambiance. It was clearly designed to impress, much the same way church's were built in the 12th century to awe the faithful. It does achieve this with majestic beams vaulting over your head, but it is more cold corporate conqueror than than warm airy garden. A word of warning, it is also very cold in winter, you get a clue when you step out of the lift and see that the staff outfits include woolly hats and fake fur jackets, so do keep every layer on when it's snowing outside. If the reverse is true I would wear a bikini in summer. It does boast incredible views over London and has to be one of the best places to take someone to inspire with corporate power. The night time vista is exceptional.
The new fragrance by Bentley comes in a stunning bottle. Designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff, head of the Parisian design studio Aesthete with Daniele de Ceccomori at Bentley. It is both a pleasure to hold, the weight of the glass and metal Bentley emblem feel very luxurious, and to admire, the shape is clean cut with gentle curves that are very pleasing to the eye. It feels and looks as it should, luxury to be coveted in its own right. Daniele Ceccomore is Bentley's in house designer and has a very illustrious design background and is performing wonders at Bentley Motors. He designed the lovely Bentley bags and we will shortly be interviewing him, so look out for that.
So what of the main attractions here tonight, the fragrances themselves? There are the two, one an Eau de Toilette, Bentley Infinite, and the other Bentley Infinite Intense, which an Eau de Parfum. The Bentley Intense is light and fresh with citrus top notes composed of Lavender and cedar, the heart is bourbon pepper, violet and geranium with an end note of patchouli, vetiver and ambergris. The ambergris is a particular favourite of mine as it last well throughout the day and is one of the most sensuous scents in the world. This is superb everyday fragrance for men who wish to convey a subtle comforting luxury to the world at large.
The Bentley Infinite Intense is very different, much stronger and also more unusual, different from any other scent I can think of which makes it stand out for me. Normally I would go for the light Eau de Toilette, but the Intense lasts beautifully all day and is exciting because it is unique. The top notes are pepper, geranium, lavender and violet, the heart is spicy with nutmeg, elemi, Siam benzoin and a hint of ambergris. The base note is patchouli, vetiver, Moroccan cedar and moss. This is far more flowery than I would normally wear and aimed at the Far East and Asia, but it really works, bringing an eastern exoticism to a man's fragrance that is powerful. Bentley Infinite Intense is just a bit sexier and more sensual. Definitely one to wear of an evening.
