Panono 360 Ball Panoramic Throwing Camera

This is what happens when our technology gets to the point that almost any idea can be realised.
You can imagine these two tech lovers sitting over a beer somewhere.
“I know!! How about a ball that you throw in the air and it takes a complete 360 panoramic picture ready when you catch it?”
“I think I could make that actually”
“Really, I was just kidding.”
“No, it’s quite doable actually”
“OK”
Well they did, and the result is the Panono, a camera that you launch upwards (something not normally advised with a digital camera) which then senses when it is at the pinnacle of it’s upward direction and takes the picture. You do have to catch it on the way down if you want to use it again.
It takes a complete 360 birds eye view of the entire scenery providing you with a complete memory of the event, holiday, landscape, moment and it’s geo tagged so you know exactly when and where you took it.
It has an accelerometer inside that measures its movement triggering the 360 image capture at the most still point in its arc. It's roughly the size of a grapefruit so portable and sure to attracte a little attention. Genius.
You then preview it on your smartphone app and upload to the cloud for sharing and communal admiring.
It looks like an eye covered orb that Darth Vader keeps in a secret cupboard for serious spying, worth having for the design alone.
