McLaren 720S Cameron House Hotel Scotland

McLaren 720S Best Hotels & Whisky Distilleries Scotland Tour

We started our journey in Surrey at 9 am and headed north, basking in the explosive snorts of the 710 bhp McLaren 720S engine. My colleague David and I were pretty stoked about a week in the Scottish Highlands. As Lex Luthor so aptly condescended in Superman II "A good time? Is that all you care about? North, Miss Teschmacher. North!".

Full review of the McLaren 720S.

Equestrian Sculpture By Frippy Jameson

Frippy Jameson (born 1978), who now lives and works in the Scottish Borders, studied Fine Art Sculpture at Camberwell College of Art and Design, but, as she explains when telling her own story, she didn’t follow the mood of that moment in the early nineties, when YBAs such as Hirst and Emin were generating all the critical excitement, controversy and headlines, with their conceptual new art.

What is Luxury And How Has It Changed?

Luxury is ephemeral and different for everyone. For some it’s a hot bath or a luxurious massage after a long day, for others it’s a stay in a fine hotel where you are pampered and served as royalty. For brands, it is exclusivity, the use of the finest materials, the latest technology, age-old craftsmanship, skills handed down through the generations, attention to detail, exquisite engineering, hand-crafted manufacture and lastly a price that places the product or service at the very top of the market, available only to a select wealthy few.

Charter A Luxury Yacht For Your Holiday In The Caribbean

Some of the best places to rent and sail a yacht in winter are in the Caribbean, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, The Bahamas, US Virgin Islands and Martinique. St Barths is probably the most popular over Christmas and New Year for its vibrant nightlife and party atmosphere.

Thailand is another destination worth considering, the landscapes are magnificent with stunning beaches and warm weather from December to March.

Petrossian Caviar

Petrossian Caviar

I am old enough to remember the rarity of seeing caviar on a restaurant’s menu. Dining at Michelin-starred restaurants was a regular occurrence in the early 1990s, yet the only recollection I have is from Marco Pierre White at Harvey’s. His now-legendary Tagliatelle of Oysters with Caviar was a right of passage for this writer along with Pigs Trotter Pierre Koffman. It is, of course, guaranteed that other gastronomic giants featured caviar. The notion that Le Gavroche, Manoir aux Quat Saisons didn’t would be absurd - I just cannot recall them.
