The model is powered by a self winding automatic movement developed in house at Longines, the L888.4. This COSC certified movement is integrated with a silicon balance spring, extending the manufacturer’s warranty from 2 years to 5 years. A reference to the chronometer rated movement can be seen above the 6 o’clock location in the form of five red stars. The men’s 42mm Longines Spirit watch features a date window at 3 o’clock, protected underneath a pane of sapphire crystal glass with scratch resistant and anti reflective properties. The back of the case is engraved with the winged hourglass logo and comes attached to a brown calfskin strap with contrast stitching and a traditional steel buckle engraved with the Longines logo. The watch also comes with an integrated interchangeable strap changing system, enabling the wearer to pair the watch with a steel link bracelet whenever desired.
