Moorcroft Numbered Edition The Pollinators Plaque

£515

Moorcroft Numbered Edition The Pollinators Plaque, MCR-051. Originally founded as a studio in 1897 within a large ceramic company, James Macintyre & Co. Moorcroft pottery soon made its mark on the world. Today, Moorcroft leads the world of art pottery with its own distinctive design style. We are proud to present this Moorcroft collection featuring stunning pottery designs inspired by the humble bumble bee. This limited edition plaque, each one signed and numbered, depicts a variety of flowers that attract bees. We can all perhaps plant a little more sympathetically and encourage bees, as well as having beautiful, colourful gardens. The honey bee thrives on holly during the winter, as seen on the ginger jar lid. So, the aim was to show that bees are not just for summer but that they are present all year round and need flowers from all seasons. Poppy, rosebay willowherb, clover and bramble are the colourful garden favourites that adorn The Pollinators Collection, which looks at bees in different seasons.  All articles purchased from We are lovingly and securely dispatched with our elegant packaging. Dimensions: H 25.00 x W 29.00 x D 2.00 cm, Shape PLQ 10.
