Michael Simpson has captured this unlikely position in an edition of 150 bronzes. This beautiful cat dozing sculpture is made in solid foundry bronze using the ancient method of lost wax casting. The design finished by the art of patination where various acids are applied to the surface of the bronze and heat applied to create a deep rich brown patina.

In the springtime the usually shy Hare can sometimes be found 'boxing'. This odd behaviour is thought to be the origin of the famous idiom "as mad as a March Hare".
