Art In Bronze Retriever with Puppies Bronze Figurine, AIB-142 In this delightful design of a Retriever mother with puppies, the playfulness of the young shines through. Usually the litter is nearer to 8 but here we see just two, which we're sure is more than enough to keep mum occupied! This charming sculpture is made in solid foundry bronze using the ancient method of lost wax casting. The design finished by the art of patination where various acids are applied to the surface of the bronze and heat applied to create a deep rich brown patina.
