The timepiece is equipped to face humid, salt-bearing conditions as well as drastic temperature changes and low-light situations. Luminescent coated hands and hour markers help with the latter. An anti reflective and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass lens enables the wearer to reference the time without any undesirable glare affecting his view.
