Just like the legendary T1 van, which has been reinterpreted and “tuned up” in this version as a low-rider restomod, the Edition Neo T1 is also a tribute to the classic design of days gone by, combining it with contemporary watchmaking technology and modern features. For the first time, MeisterSinger is equipping the popular Neo model with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, replacing the hard acrylic glass that was commonly used at the time.

The IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Oceana watch reference IW389404 presents itself in a stunning 41mm blue ceramic case. The design takes inspiration from the uniform worn by the Navy and the arduous tasks carried out aboard aircraft carriers. Colouring the ceramic case is no easy task. It requires the skill and masterful expertise of the Schaffhausen based brand to successfully achieve all the steps of the process, including the sintering, case shaping and blending of raw materials.

As usual, they are made from surface-hardened and bead-blasted submarine steel. The hour and minute hands as well as the indices are coated with Superluminova: Old Radium in GL X1 quality.
