Maserati launched the new Grecale at The Retreat at Elcot Park, a lovely setting for pootling about and testing the road handling and comfort in normal conditions. Like the other names in the Maserati fold, the Grecale is named after the cool winds that come off the Mediterranean, originating in the Greek Islands.

The Audi R8 V10 is somewhat of a legend in its lifetime. The classic shape, supercar performance, minimalist interior and celebrated engine roar made this car much loved by all sportscar fans.

We took it on a Shakespearean tour of Stratford, staying at the wonderful Arden Hotel opposite the amazing Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and ending our trip at the celebrated and venerable Great Fosters hotel in Surrey.

Wiesmann is launching the first all-electric convertible two-seater sports car, 'Project Thunderball', a bespoke luxury retro styled classic coachbuild on a modern powertrain.

I leapt on a plane to Düsseldorf for the inaugural launch at the Wiesmann factory in Dülmen. The factory itself is straddled by a giant gecko, 15 metres tall and over 110 metres long, the brand logo signifying that the car sticks to the road like a gecko sticks to walls.

The Bobber style of bikes was born In the ‘40s when bikers would strip back and cut down their bikes in the never-ending pursuit of more speed. Bikes were chopped and lightened to make them faster, inadvertently creating the Bobber style.

Honda’s CB1000R is possibly the best-looking naked bike on the road. That single-sided swingarm is gorgeous, the short seat and machined engine casings make it look industrial and the aggressive stance gives it a mischievous and reckless attitude. 

I make no bones about the fact I’m a big fan of Suzuki’s GSX-S1000. It's a simple, brutish, modern muscle bike. The recipe is so simple; great chassis, fabulous engine, cool looks and great build quality. Put all that together and you get a 150 bhp, 999 cc 4 cylinder, fun machine.

Recently, I was invited to a media day by Kymco where we were offered the chance to spend the day riding some of their scooters.

You probably haven’t heard of Kymco, who are they?

Founded in 1964, KYMCO became one of Honda’s overseas manufacturing facilities. In the UK Kymco has been little more than an afterthought. For years, the petrol product (ATV & 2 wheeled) was looked after by Masco. In 2017 Masco closed its doors, leaving Kymco with a bit of an issue. 

Polaris was founded in 1954 and is now the leading global Powersports company in the world. They are no.1 in the global Powersports market. 

Their range is divided into two categories; ATV (All-terrain vehicles, quad) and UTV (Utility vehicles, buggies etc).
