It is always a pleasant surprise and refreshing to find an hotel that exceeds your expectations.  The opening photograph on the Congham Hall website is, even if I am being a bit mean, rather reminiscent of a prep school.  However, as we happily discovered, it hides the many charms and friendly experiences both within the hotel and around the gardens.

Reep Southern hosted over 30 McLaren supercars at the Dunsfold Racetrack on Saturday with the McLaren Owners Club. A procession of McLaren supercars arrived at the Reep state of the art studio in The Old Fire Station at Dunsfold Park and lined up in multiple rows beside the famous Top Gear race track.

The horses they supplied for the fashion shoot were magnificent and behaved impeccably and you can see how attached the models, Jens and Dariia, became to them.

The Ivy Collection launched the Ivy Castle View in Guildford last week in the newly refurbished Tunsgate Quarter overlooking Guildford Castle, bringing a whole new level of dining to Guildford and about time too.
The discreet entrance is on the corner by the stairs facing the castle, where you are warmly greeted by a smart receptionist and shown up the two fights of stairs to the main restaurant. There you are attended by three equally smart receptionists who greet you by name and make sure that a fourth takes your coat.

The name Dunsfold Park immediately conjures up images of Top Gear, The Stig and amazing cars being pushed to their limits around the airfield’s race track. It’s become synonymous with all things to do with sports cars and a haven for the petrol heads who embrace them.
