Hand & Flowers, Marlow. Review
So we decided to take the Aston Martin DB9 over to the Hand and Flowers in Marlow. The chef is Tom Kerridge and in 2011 he had the distinction of being the first pub to receive two Michelin Stars, putting him up there with chefs like Michel Roux at Le Gavroche and Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. As we were on a British Luxury Tour, this pub seemed like the perfect stop for lunch on our way to Cliveden Hotel and Spa, where we were staying the night.

It all started over an inebriated argument between banker husband and wife essentially covering the topic of how manly escapades were no longer partaken of. Just work and family. A few phone calls later to a once legendary but now ageing crew, myself included, and permission granted from partners (bribed with future promises of luxury spas) and the die was cast.
So International eXcellence Magazine set off for the 24 hrs of Le Mans with some very old friends in three Ferraris for a manly few days of luxury camping and racing!

International eXcellence Magazine took the Aston Martin Volante DB9 convertible in Bronze on a British Luxury Tour to experience Britishness at its best.
We combined great British automotive design, classic British luxury hotels, Michelin starred restaurants, sky diving and country scenery in a five day extravaganza.

Automobili Lamborghini unveiled its first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology demonstrator, the Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4, making its world debut at the 2014 Paris Mondial de l’Automobile.

Landing in Copenhagen Airport is always a pleasure, it's small, neat and very easy to get through, if only everything in life was like that. Actually the next five days were going to be pretty excellent, as I was arriving in Legoland for the start of the Bentley Modern Luxury Tour.
 

It's not without good reason that the tourist board of Denmark's capital have elected to use the slogan 'Wonderful Copenhagen'. While failing to attract the kind of visitor numbers that flock to London, Paris or Rome, this compact city is easily amongst Europe's best short break destinations. Renowned for its design ethic, eco-credentials and cuisine, from the Rosenberg Castle's regal ambience to the discreet bars of Norrebro- arguably the hippest district on the continent- it's impossible not to be impressed. 

 
The Goodwood Revival will mark 60 years of one of Formula 1’s most iconic machines, the Maserati 250F, with one of the largest ever on-track collections of the car at the September 12-14 event.
As many as 16 examples of the 250F will take part in the Richmond Trophy, which this year will feature 2.5-litre, front-engined grand prix cars of a kind that raced from 1954 to 1960. Among them is one of only two of the V12-engined versions of the machine ever built.
 

International eXcellence Magazine was invited to play in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open Pro Am with Ian Poulter, as part of the launch of Ballantines new online golf club presenting Ian as the new club Captain.
I spent the weekend before the Pro Am at the driving ranges at Hoebridge and Broadwater, two lovely little Surrey clubs and my golf was in pretty good shape. Mind you I was going to be playing on a tough course with one of the top 25 golfers in the world!

Aston Martin teamed up with engineering group Prodrive in 2004 to get Aston Martin back into racing with the DBR9 and they have been very very successful promoting some of the best driving talent around such as Darren Turner. They also have Bruno Senna, David Hannson, Pedro Lamy and Alex MacDowall on the team! Darren Turner won the Le Mans in 2007 and in 2008, a celebrated double . Aston Martin has also been a major presence at the Nürburgring, Spa and Silverstone this year with Darren on the podium for the 6 Hours of Silverstone.
