Excellence is an Attention Powered Car

Excellence is an Attention Powered Car

The RAC of Australia have come up with a unique approach to tackle road deaths due to inattention. The Attention Powered Car. This car requires you to wear a headset that monitors your brain activity, blink rate, gaze rate and eye movement, effectively measuring if you are paying attention or not.
If the driver’s brain activity is low the car will slow down until the driver starts to pay attention again.

Pininfarina - Made in Italy

Pininfarina - Made in Italy

Until now I have never really considered myself a petrolhead, however I must admit that since purchasing my 'new' car, I am as they say 'in love'. The car in question? An Alfa Romeo GTV.
One must always ask the question when buying one of these fine automobiles, should I spend my money on something which is deemed so unreliable?

Loving Lauge Jensen Motorbikes

Loving Lauge Jensen Motorbikes

Yves de Contades hopped over to Denmark to take a look at the bespoke luxury designer bikes by Lauge Jensen.
A quick flight from London City Airport took me to Billund, Denmark, the home of Lego. Legoland was shut that day, however I was here to look at some beautifully engineered, chrome and gold motorbikes rather than the bestselling interlocking plastic bricks and their theme park.

Guildford-What’s in a name?

Guildford-What’s in a name?

Yellow Metal - Water Crossing.
Perhaps not the most prestigious sounding of names; it sounds as though it could belong to a township in America’s sun-drenched south west, perhaps home to the ancestors of those who arrived from all over, desperate to seek their fortune in the famous Gold Rush of the mid-19th century.

Ferrari Fun in France from Lord and Lady

Ferrari Fun in France from Lord and Lady

Where to take a Ferrari FF to enjoy it at its best? Well it was designed as a touring car so a luxury Chateau near the Le Mans 24hrs racing track seemed like a really good idea. The French roads are ideal touring material and provide endless opportunities to really test out this wonderful feat of engineering. Perhaps starting with a really unique hotel in Paris and finishing up in a historic house in England would make this a perfect review of this fantastic Italian supercar.

The Inside Track…
One of the most luxurious, and deeply English, ways to travel through England’s glorious countryside is on the Orient-Express British Pullman. Over the last century, Orient-Express has come to symbolise the most romantic railway experiences available, and, as the birthplace of the locomotive, there’s no better place to experience the iconic brand’s opulent hospitality than in England. Orient-Express Managing Director Gary Franklin tells us why.
What is so quintessentially English about the Orient-Express?
