It's all about wearable tech, the latest buzz is not robots ruling the world, but wearing the tech and interfacing more closely with the digital environment around us. We will slowly merge with the technological revolution and it will be all about simplicity.
You will not need a degree in computer engineering to use the latest innovations, but will employ the greatest and latest software and hardware with the flip of a wrist, the swipe of a hand or a casually voiced command.

Makes 24
275g self raising flour
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp mixed spice
½ tsp cinnamon
75g caster sugar
1 egg
250ml milk
75g butter, melted
1 x 411g jar mincemeat
75g raisins
1 Preheat the oven to gas mark 6/200C/180fan. Grease a muffin tin.
2 Sift together the flour, bicarbonate of soda, cinnamon and mixed spice in a large bowl. Stir in the caster sugar.
3 In a separate bowl mix together the egg, milk, melted butter and mincemeat.

Wearable technology is all the new design and concept rage. That and the connection of products and things to the the net and us. We may not become cyborgs over the next decade but we will certainly be dressing like one.
The Nixie is a wrist band you wear like a watch which unstraps and turns into a quad copter that can film or photograph you then fly back onto your wrist.
This is about as Sci FI as it gets. Think of all the other applications for this wearable technology.

As promised so many years ago in the film Back To The Future but so far it has singularly failed to materialise, the Hover Board is a last in its first phase. This concept board has been engineered by Greg Henderson and uses his patented hover engine technology.

It's not brand new but the 1199 Panigale is a super bike to drool over. Also the photo campaign by Moto Corsa is hilarious. They did the usual super bike shots with a scarily clad lady and then swapped in a few more beefy chaps to even the playing field and give women something to enjoy.
It's a great parody and show Ducati really do have a sense of humour as well as making dream super bikes.

Recent media attention around Ashya King, the five-year old British boy, who travelled to Prague this summer for proton therapy treatment certainly put the spotlight firmly on the Czech Republic and its reputation for cutting-edge medical treatments.

It all started over an inebriated argument between banker husband and wife essentially covering the topic of how manly escapades were no longer partaken of. Just work and family. A few phone calls later to a once legendary but now ageing crew, myself included, and permission granted from partners (bribed with future promises of luxury spas) and the die was cast.
So International eXcellence Magazine set off for the 24 hrs of Le Mans with some very old friends in three Ferraris for a manly few days of luxury camping and racing!
