Prior to my trip I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with the reservations agent who was not only incredibly helpful but also ensured that she responded to my many emails and questions within 24 hours, which in this day and age is a complete rarity. Due to this impeccable service, I had high expectations for my stay at The Royal Antibes.

At Llangoed Hall I slept like a Queen. And ended up scented and shod like one too.
The definite luxury British country house hotel in the Wye River valley amongst the Black Mountains in the mid-Wales countryside near Brecon, has hosted the Clintons and the Clooneys, And less important people like Prince Charles. There is a thank you letter from him hanging in the Grand Hall. Alongside one from John Major.

The Kensington Hotel is situated in one of the best locations in London, slap bang in the centre of South Kensington at Queens Gate. It was once three separate buildings, then knocked together and renovated for £20 million by the Doyle sisters, owners of Ireland's largest hotel group: Bernie Gallagher, Eileen Monaghan and Ann Roche, all daughters of the late PV Doyle, the legendary hotelier who was famous for his attention to the quality of service in his hotels.
