I was recently lucky enough to taste some of Ducati's delicious offerings for a couple of hours on a press day. One of the delights was the Panigale V2, named after the district of Borgo Panigale, home of Ducati.

Gloves have a big impact on our riding. I’ve worn gloves that simply did not fit properly making them uncomfortable. The wrong gloves in the wrong conditions leave you with sweaty hands and you can’t get them back on after you stop, or wet and cold hands in the rain. Gloves are one of the most important pieces of kit.

One of life's great pleasures is riding with a bunch of mates. It doesn’t matter what you’re riding. These days I really don’t get many opportunities to do it, with work, family and life often getting in the way. I usually end up riding on my own.

Recently, I was invited to a media day by Kymco and jumped at the chance to spend the day riding some of their scooters with a bunch of media types. What's not to like?
