This retrospective exhibition had been shown at the Grand Palais in Paris in 2012; it was the first
comprehensive presentation of Newton’s work since his death in the French capital city where he lived
and worked since 1961 for two decades. The show includes more than 200 photographs in black &

If you weren't aware of the release of the latest instalment of the video game franchise Grand Theft Auto then I really have to ask the question, where on earth have you been?
GTA V is the most expensive video game ever assembled. Costing a reported £170 million to make, this game is all the evidence one would need to realise that today's video games mean bigger business than the pop world and even Hollywood.
Given the somewhat unexpected summer weather we have enjoyed here in the UK I was perhaps forgiven for not expecting this to be a typically blustery day in Cardiff, yet fun and excitement are always in abundance at this fantastic annual event.
2013 was the second year since Cardiff snatched the event away from Cowes, and the city certainly sees sailing as an important part of its sport and arts attractions. This year saw Land Rover as the main sponsor including a local team, Team Wales Land Rover, skippered by young Welsh sailor Dave Evans.
International eXcellence attended the Panerai British Classic Week's sailing in Cowes this summer.
This event truly deserves our eXcellence award. It is superbly well organised in a wonderful setting. The Classic yachts are stunning works of art that glide over the water, evocative of a bygone age of yacht design and sailing skills.
