Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today announced two moves in its leadership team. Davide Grasso, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIKE’s Converse, joins FCA and is named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Maserati. Grasso also is appointed to the Company’s Group Executive Council (GEC).
While at Converse, Grasso engineered that iconic brand for long-term sustainable growth. His previous experience includes a string of successes at NIKE, where he served in numerous leadership positions, including Chief Marketing Officer for the Nike brand.

The special edition production of Ford Mustang Bullitt – celebrating the 50th anniversary the legendary Warner Bros. film starring Steve McQueen – is to be extended into 2020.
Following a popular first run of production, in which the full 2018 quota was sold shortly after announcement, production into 2020 has now been confirmed and gone on sale.

I popped over to Turin for the launch of the new Fiat 500 Star and Rockstar. Turin is a mere two hours away in the very north of Italy, just shy of the border with France. Typical of the area, Turin boasts a mixture of post modern industrial buildings and classical Latin Renaissance, Baroque and Empire architecture. 1960 was an important year for Triumph. They had introduced the new 'unit’ 500cc engine with the engine and gearbox as a single unit. 1960 also meant the T100 was when the controversial bathtub-esq bodywork was released on the world. This was a semi enclosed rear end that resembled an old upside down tin bath. This wasn't well received and only lasted 2 years.
