For our McLaren extravaganza, we drove up to The Pig in Bath in the sunny Mendip Hills for a wild lust tour of the county’s best winding roads. The picturesque landscapes of Somerset, with their rolling hills and charming villages, set the perfect backdrop for the raw power and precision of the McLaren 750S.

We took the Ferrari Purosangue on a thrilling tour through Somerset and Bath for our review, staying at the delightful Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath for an unforgettable sejour.

The Ferrari Purosangue is an 80s rally car with four doors and four seats, featuring the latest racing suspension plus a V12 monster of an engine and high ground clearance. 

The Goodwood Festival of Speed has its roots in the early 1990s and is the vision of Lord March. 

Lord March, also known as the Duke of Richmond, wanted to revive motor racing at Goodwood. However, reopening the Goodwood Circuit, which had been closed since 1966, proved to be a difficult task. Instead, he came up with a new concept: a celebration of motor racing history on the grounds of the estate itself. 

Just when I think I'm becoming jaded, Lexus surprises me with something unexpected and cool. They profoundly understand that modern mobility encompasses advanced technology alongside engineering excellence. Lexus fuels its luxury car innovations with research and development funding from mass-market Toyota vehicles. However, Lexus is far more than a souped-up Toyota—it stands apart with a distinctiveness akin to the difference between Bentley and Audi.

Moto Guzzi is a renowned Italian motorcycle manufacturer, boasting a rich history dating back to 1921.

Founded by WWI comrades: The story begins with two Italian pilots, Giorgio Parodi and Giovanni Ravelli, and their mechanic, Carlo Guzzi, who dreamt of building motorcycles after the war. Sadly, Ravelli passed away shortly after, but to honour him, the iconic Moto Guzzi eagle logo was created.

Toyota GR 86 Review

The GR86, Toyota's successor to the GT86, is a 2-door, 4-seater coupe that stands out by offering both a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options, a rarity among contemporary performance cars. Despite its compact size, the GR86 delivers impressive performance with a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder boxer engine producing 231 horsepower. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.3 seconds, although its top speed is limited to 140 mph.

Having explored numerous Lexus models, the perpetual refinement evident in each iteration never fails to impress. But does the Lexus ES 300h uphold the legacy of Lexus technology while delivering the smooth comfort and effortless driving experience for which the brand is renowned?

For our review, we toured all around Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, taking in the gorgeous historic towns of Bath, Penryn and Falmouth.

Last week I headed up to Yorkshire for the launch of the new Jeep Wrangler and Grand Jeep Cherokee, two superb off-roaders that put the fun into off-road adventures, blending rugged capability with exhilarating freedom.
