Yves de Contades took off for a luxury flying Safari adventure to explore and discover the bounteous wildlife and breathtaking landscapes of Namibia.
Rotterdam / Doha, 8 March 2013 – After winning an international competition, OMA has been announced as masterplanners for Airport City, a new 10km2 development where 200,000 people will live and work, linking the new Hamad International Airport with the city of Doha, Qatar. OMA’s masterplan is a series of four circular districts along a spine parallel to the HIA runways, intended to create a strong visual identity and districts with unique identities.
Fishing with dolphins
Yves de Contades took a luxury tour of the Sultanate of Oman and went fishing with dolphins.
Yves de Contades interviewed Mr Lahcen Haddad, the Moroccan Tourist Minister and he has many fascinating things to say about the new developments and changes in that stunning country.
Morocco has a superb balance of the old and the new. They are embracing new technological advances whilst retaining their best traditions. The aim is to create a country that remains unspoilt and build a lasting tourist industry with a focus on luxury and sutainability.
Yves de Contades went to the ultimate luxury Caribbean island of St Barths to discover paradise, sample the succulent French Caribean cuisine and luxuriate in the finest hotels with a little light sailing in between.

Dukes is a very short cab ride from Victoria station up to the heart of St James.
It is beautifully located between the Ritz on Piccadilly and Buckingham Palace, down a lovely little old Victorian London Mews.
The doorman greeted us with exquisite manners and gently took all our bags, and us, off to the reception desk.
Lady
Lord and Lady spent a day at Chewton Glen Spa and found it to be one of the best Spas in England, absolutely wonderful beauty treatments with a relaxing hydrotherapy pool that was great fun too.
The Chewton Glen Hotel has a fabulous bar and restaurant and our Lord and Lady reviewed it for International eXcellence whilst staying at the hotel and Spa.
Lady: As you go through the foyer entrance, past the old staircase to the rooms and the grand piano, the restaurant stretches out along the windows over two rooms overlooking the gardens. Country house comfort and style. But first the bar for a quick refreshment.
