Founded by bikers, for bikers, Roadskin is a UK-based motorcycle clothing brand. The company was started by Ian and Nicky Wilson. Ian, a former London courier, gained firsthand knowledge of the shortcomings of traditional motorcycle gear. Early in his career, he and his friend, Mark Kingham, resorted to unconventional methods to stay warm and dry, which fueled their desire to create better gear.
Roadskin is a small, family-run business that focuses on creating high-quality, durable motorcycle jeans. Ian and Nicky use their collective experience to design clothing that balances safety, style, and comfort, which they sell directly to customers at a fair price.

The Roadskin Taranis Elite jeans are a revolution in motorcycle safety, achieving a top-tier AAA safety rating in a single layer. This is a remarkable first for motorcycle gear, as confirmed by the UK's SATRA Technology Centre.
They seamlessly blend protective Kevlar fibres into premium denim for a garment that looks and feels like regular five-pocket jeans but offers superior protection. An added touch of elastane makes them incredibly comfortable and flexible. Unlike other rigid motorcycle jeans, the Taranis feels soft and pliable, making them some of the most comfortable on the market. I have personally worn them all day at the office after a morning ride, a testament to their comfort and adaptability.
A breathable mesh lining keeps you cool and provides an extra layer of protection for your skin. The straight-leg jeans are supplied with Level 2 Smoothways armour, with an option to upgrade to RHEON Level 2 knee and hip armour for even better protection. RHEON armour is lightweight, flexible, and instantly stiffens upon impact to absorb energy. I personally recommend the RHEON upgrade for a worthwhile investment in superior safety and comfort.

The Roadskin Bronte leggings challenge the notion that you have to choose between motorcycle style and safety. Designed for women riders, these leggings have an AA rating for abrasion resistance, thanks to their innovative, fully lined Kevlar construction. They come equipped with CE Level 2 knee and hip protectors to guard critical areas.
These are the best-fitting leggings we have found. Kate is short, but the petite size fitted like a glove and was comfortable straight away.
They are a fusion of street style and practical design, featuring adjustable armour pockets for a custom fit and elasticated foot stirrups to keep the armour in place. The leggings also have a high-rise back waistband to prevent drafts and a rear zip for seamless connection to most motorcycle jackets. A dedicated stretch panel on the knees provides greater flexibility and ease of movement, proving that luxury, style, and safety can beautifully coexist.
