This event truly deserves our eXcellence award. It is superbly well organised in a wonderful setting. The Classic yachts are stunning works of art that glide over the water, evocative of a bygone age of yacht design and sailing skills.

JULY 2013 - After a stunning week of great weather, superb racing afloat, outstanding hospitality ashore and a unique sense of camaraderie and fun, the Panerai British Classic Week 2013 came to a close last Friday.
The words Glorious Goodwood have become synonymous with horse racing on the South Downs. In the minds of motor racing afficionados, they can equally be applied to their sport at the historic circuit at the foot of Trundle Hill.
Closed in 1966, the motor racing circuit assumed a new lease of life in 1998 when the Earl of March, after some huge battles, put on the first Revival Meeting. This was held over three days, with restricted entry to all those cars and motor bikes that had raced at the circuit between 1948 and 1966.
"Selfridges, business as usual"
Named after its founder, Harry Gordon Selfridge, Selfridge & Co opened its doors on Oxford Street on 15 March 1909. With his innate understanding of the value of publicity, Harry Gordon masterminded the elaborate opening advertising campaigns. The crush was so large it took thirty police officers to hold back the crowds. Breaking new ground in his newly adopted city, Harry Selfridge took to using a new name: Gordon. To his staff however, he was always The Chief.
In 1919, an engineering genius obsessed by speed, W.O. focused on his dream, creating a car bearing his name. That October the first Bentley engine came to life.
During the 1920’s Bentley went from strength to strength. Racing triumphs proved reliability, speed and incredible performance. These were the years of the Bentley Boys. Extraordinary adventures followed by extravagant victorious celebrations.
Five glorious Le Mans victories and a successful return in 2003 secured the sixth historical win.
