Experimental is the word of the season. The Fall-Winter RTW 2014 collection from BASIL SODA is an experiment of prints, and material work; with a casual take on the house’s DNA. The atelier was in a painterly mood this season bringing together a touch of illustration to the textiles. Abstract collages alongside linear drawings bring a fun sensibility to the table. A mixture of lush satins, supple leathers and a nod to menswear inspired textiles make up the structure. Another element that came into play was the idea of sportswear and an effortless way of dressing.

 For almost 100 years, E. Marinella has been specialised in beautiful accessories for man and women. The classic brand, steeped in history and tradition, is still today renowned for its collection of handmade ties, which are the epitome of Italian elegance.   These exquisite ties can be made in what is known as the 5-fold, 7-fold or 9-fold pattern, which is a reassuring luxury the wearer can either disclose or keep as his bespoke secret.   All the ties are unique and handmade, and the silks used for each tie is different and cut to make just one tie.

 
"Selfridges, business as usual"
 
Named after its founder, Harry Gordon Selfridge, Selfridge & Co opened its doors on Oxford Street on 15 March 1909. With his innate understanding of the value of publicity, Harry Gordon masterminded the elaborate opening advertising campaigns. The crush was so large it took thirty police officers to hold back the crowds. Breaking new ground in his newly adopted city, Harry Selfridge took to using a new name: Gordon. To his staff however, he was always The Chief.

She lives in London as American Vogue’s correspondent, while also working as a fashion journalist, an advocate for young designers and a professor at Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design. 2.      Rigby & Peller: This family-run lingerie and corsetry specialist has held the Royal Warrant since 1960. Well-known for its expert bra fittings and beautiful designer lingerie and swimwear, it also offers a made-to-measure service.
