'HOTEL BERLIN, BERLIN' MOVES WITH THE TIMES

As I approached ‘Hotel Berlin, Berlin’ in the early evening, a neon blue strip cut across its angular façade, hinting at its mid-20th century roots while embracing the city’s constant evolution. Inside, an LED banner wrapped itself above the self-service reception, flashing contemporary art, just one example of the hotel’s blend of design, innovation and sustainability.

From Beirut to London: Lebanese designers’ exhibition

The annual Lebanese designers’ exhibition - ‘From Beirut to London’ - is underway again, at the Arab British Chamber of Commerce in the heart of Mayfair.

Presented by the UK Embassy of Lebanon, the event showcases the very best of the country’s underrated heritage craftsmanship, featuring stalls and stands from leading Lebanese designers in the fields of fashion, jewellery, art, home décor and artisanal works.

It runs until November 26th, and will be back again in 2024 if you’re not able to make it on this occasion.

Arts & Culture

Arts & Culture

A wealth of cultural gems just waiting to be discovered..

“Nowhere else in the world will you find the strength, depth and breadth
in the arts and culture that you do in England.”

England is the birthplace of some of the finest playwrights, artists, poets, composers and actors the world has ever known. And we have always taken arts and culture very seriously indeed, not just in London but right across the country.
