On a scorching hot weekend at the end of June, Ragley Hall was the venue for the Adventure Bike Rider Festival or ABR.
Set in 450 acres of beautiful parkland, in the heart of Shakespeare’s England, the Ragley estate overlooks the unspoilt Warwickshire countryside.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed has its roots in the early 1990s and is the vision of Lord March.
Lord March, also known as the Duke of Richmond, wanted to revive motor racing at Goodwood. However, reopening the Goodwood Circuit, which had been closed since 1966, proved to be a difficult task. Instead, he came up with a new concept: a celebration of motor racing history on the grounds of the estate itself.
I recently called into Piaggio UK for a sneak peek of the new Moto Guzzi Stelvio and Aprilia RS457.
These all-new models both represent important steps for the manufacturers. Unfortunately, they were jus for display and we didn't get a chance to ride, but wow!
First up is the Aprilia RS457. This sits between the RS660 and RS125 providing both an A2 stepping for those moving up from smaller capacity bikes and a fast, fun alternative to an unusable litre bike.
