On the next leg of our Range Rover Evoque tour, we venture down to Falmouth, where we have the pleasure of staying at the charming St. Michael's Resort, a delightful coastal hotel with an inviting hydrotherapy spa.

Nestled behind narrow Cornish streets and enveloped by lush tropical trees and foliage, St. Michael's Resort is artfully concealed behind a terrace and gardens that overlook the beautiful Gyllyngvase Beach. This golden shoreline is just a stone's throw away, separated only by a quaint coastal road.

As part of the Range Rover Evoque Hybrid tour, our journey led us to the vibrant coastal town of Brighton, where we embarked on an exhilarating jet ski safari with Brighton Boating Lagoon Watersports.

Our drive to Brighton Marina was a scenic adventure through picturesque countryside roads, culminating in a delightful journey along the coastal route, offering breathtaking vistas of the pristine white chalk cliffs overlooking the viridescent sea.

Islay, the picturesque island nestled in the southernmost part of the Inner Hebrides, is renowned for its rugged beauty, rich history, and, most importantly, its whisky. I have yet to meet any lover of peated whisky who does not jump at every opportunity to taste the spirit from this closed distillery.

Michelle Pearson Cooper’s  delicate flower studies,  made when Covid meant escape to Africa was forbidden, are another highlight of her exhibition.  

These paintings of  wildflowers, butterflies and bees,  were inspired during the pandemic.  

The exhibition, inserted like a ship in a bottle into the domestic proportions of the Osborne Studio Gallery, comprises a collection from the sixty of more Climping beach scenes,  and one eight footer of the Arctic, following Baker’s Cummingøya expedition.
