Land Rover will mark its 70th anniversary with a series of events and celebrations in 2018, beginning with the restoration of the vehicle that started it all – one of the three pre-production Land Rovers shown at the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show launch. This gave the world its first glimpse of the shape that would become instantly recognisable as a Land Rover.

Calcot is a warm and welcoming 14th century country house in the Cotswolds. A cosy, family friendly, spa hotel. They have 35 bedrooms, two restaurants, a large indoor pool, a spa and an exceptional outdoor hot tub with open wood fire. It is set in 220 acres of gorgeous meadows and the ideal place to luxuriate whilst you visit the surrounding areas.

McLaren Automotive, the British creator of luxury sportscars and supercars, has recorded another record year of growth, selling a total of 3,340 cars in 2017.
Around two-thirds of sales are attributed to the Sports Series family, the vast majority of which are new buyers to the brand, with the rest coming from the Super Series.

At the end of our luxury tour in the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider we stopped off for lunch at the brand spanking new Ivy Brasserie in Cobham. We’ve been going to the Ivy in London for 30 years and were wondering how they would adapt to this Surrey village.

The new Jeep Compass, a smaller and smarter SUV has been officially launched in the UK. Our first impressions were good and it packs a lot of punch for the price, starting at £23K, which is pretty competitive.
The Jeep brand has a prestigious history and now that Chrysler has allied with Fiat we expect this brand to grow in value and market share. In fact they saw sales rise by 19% in 2016 which is very impressive in such a saturated market.

At first sight the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider looks like a childhood sports car dream come true, for under £60,000. So is it?
