Gloves have a big impact on our riding. I’ve worn gloves that simply did not fit properly making them uncomfortable. The wrong gloves in the wrong conditions leave you with sweaty hands and you can’t get them back on after you stop, or wet and cold hands in the rain. Gloves are one of the most important pieces of kit.
If you ride all year round, you will no doubt have your riding gear well-sorted. There's nothing worse than being wet, freezing and cold but you still have miles to go.
These days I generally ride in jeans and a jacket. I find it comfortable and like the way it looks and with modern technology being employed, it still provides good protection.
I’ve used a few brands and styles of jeans but am currently wearing Furygan K11 X Kevlar Jeans and loving them.
In recent times I've taken to wearing more casual riding gear. Riding in casual gear is more comfortable than race boots and full leathers but still offers good levels of protection.
I've wanted a black leather biker jacket with a red lining ever since my early teenage years.
Back then I was a bit of a rocker with a hint of goth and was already sneaking into pubs and clubs to watch bands.
