The Bentley Continental GT: A Timeless Symbol of Luxury and Performance

The relationship between art and timekeeping has a long and fascinating history. Throughout the ages, watchmakers and artists have collaborated to create exquisite timepieces that transcend mere functionality and become works of art. However, some artists have taken this collaboration a step further by directly incorporating their creativity onto watch canvases. The convergence of fine art and watchmaking has led to the emergence of unique timepieces that serve not only as accurate timekeepers but also as miniature masterpieces.

We toured the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid up to Bath in Somerset and then down to Beachy Head in East Sussex. And did a 15 km Tough Mudder with 30 world-famous obstacles.

In this job, I am lucky enough to have ridden many different bikes. Fast, slow, big small and a lot in between. However, I have never ridden a Harley……until now.

And we felt that maybe that made it interesting enough to cover here. We were hoping it might be fun and were not disappointed. I mean what the hell, this is a 20k car, why are we reviewing it? Because for the money it is excellent. 

Kitzbühel has the charm and sophistication of a wealthy Grande Dame that other resorts respect and allude to.  Check if the snow conditions are good, then I would put forward the more than 750 year old small town of Kitzbühel. It is a winter (and summer) resort that you can return to time and again and still find more of interest both on and off the slopes.  However, there is nothing stuffy here as the well-groomed pistes have a magnetic vibrancy.

Do you need to pay gym fees and waste time getting to a gym? Just roll out of bed and pop into your own fitness centre in your garage, or turn the dining room into a temporary workout room between family meals. Exercising in the comfort of your own home also means you don't have to dress up to work out.

As proprietors of William Grant, the parent company behind brands such as The Balvenie and Glenfiddich, their 80-year legacy of astute laying down of casks has yielded an extraordinary collection of malt, grain and blended whiskies, notable for their high age statements.

In the autumn of 1983 a mere 500 copies of the new book by a largely unknown author called Terry Pratchett hit a small number of shops and libraries across the UK. It was called The Colour of Magic, and 500 copies was all that publishers Colin Smythe Ltd, a small company based out of Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire, had printed up for the home market. Pratchett’s previous releases, The Carpet People in 1971, Dark Side of the Sun in 1975 and Strata in 1981 had all been well received by critics, but their sales could generously be described as “modest”.
