Lexus recently launched the new Lexus UX 300e. However, the brand doesn’t do things by halves. They pulled out all the stops and hosted the event at the newly refurbished Cameron House Hotel, which is located on the bonny shores of Loch Lomond in Scotland.

Cameron House offers a blend of historical charm and contemporary luxury that is hard to match. The grandeur of this five-star resort, combined with its breathtaking location, created a perfect haven for me as I was seeking relaxation, adventure, and a taste of the finer things in life. 

The Hotel Meudon, near Falmouth, is a whimsical retreat set amidst gardens that could be straight out of Alice in Wonderland. Overlooking the pristine Cornish coast, the tropical flora transports you into a storybook realm where leaves unfurl as wide as sails and trees shrink to the size of your imagination. Here, scale is a playful trickster: one moment you tower, the next, you’re as small as Alice after a sip from a mysterious bottle, always a wanderer in a fantastical, far-flung world.

As a lifelong night owl, one of my all-time hotel pet peeves is the often relatively early time that breakfast finishes, which can have you dragging yourself out of bed after a late night out and hot-stepping it to the last slot unkempt and bleary-eyed, sometimes missing out by a matter of minutes or even seconds if the staff member at the lectern is particularly officious.

To get a proper sense of what Florence has to offer four days is what I’d suggest. I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on a journey to the Green Spa Resort Stanglwirt, an enchanting Austrian retreat situated amid the majestic Alps. As a seasoned traveller, it takes a lot to impress me, but Stanglwirt managed to surprise and captivate me in a way I hadn't experienced before. This extraordinary place exudes a magical and exceptionally welcoming atmosphere that made leaving incredibly difficult. Promising myself that I would return as soon as possible, I departed with a deep longing for the serene haven I had found.
