The Savoy’s Sparkling Secret - New Masterclasses

There are few places in London that whisper quiet grandeur quite like The Savoy. The Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay is all hushed lighting, polished brass and old-school charm, but slip into the private Wine Room and the atmosphere shifts. This glass-fronted chamber, lined with bottles that include Château Petrus and Romanée-Conti, feels like a secret kept for those who know where to look.

City of Dreams Med

OPEN YOUR MIND TO THE CITY OF DREAMS MEDITERRANEAN

Welcome to the City of Dreams Mediterranean” was the greeting from the hotel doorman as he opened the gold-rimmed glass entrance ushering us into a grandiose, marbled and voluminous lobby; this type of glamour, style and pizazz is usually associated with cities like Dubai, Hong Kong or Miami, yet here we were on the eastern periphery of Limassol on the beautiful island of Cyprus.

Beyond the Bottle at Porte Noire

Tucked behind the pillars and curves of Gasholder No.10 in King’s Cross, Porte Noire is one. Tucked behind the pillars and curves of Gasholder No.10 in King’s Cross—a space once better known for raves and railway soot than for polished wine service, Porte Noire is one of those restaurants that, once visited, makes you wonder why you left it so long.

Savoy Grill - Timeless Brilliance

Gordon Ramsay’s Savoy Grill is one of London’s most iconic restaurants, blending sophistication with timeless elegance and reflecting the hotel’s rich heritage. Reimagined by Gordon Ramsay, the restaurant reopened its doors in April 2023, revitalising a space that has been a favourite of actors, politicians, and influential figures for generations. The subtle updates were well worth the investment, as the buzzing dining room now welcomes a new demographic of passionate foodies alongside its regulars.

Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay - Brilliance At 22 Bishopsgate

Gordon Ramsay has taken dining in the capital to new heights - literally. His latest venture at 22 Bishopsgate, the tallest building in the City of London, introduces three dining experiences and a bar, all set against a breathtaking skyline. With the city stretching out below, I had my first taste of the offering at Lucky Cat during its inaugural lunch, and it left a lasting impression.

Wiltons Restaurant

Wiltons Restaurant Introduces Its Classics Menu Showcasing Timeless British Delicacies In Honour Of The Summer Season.

Introducing Wiltons' Classics Menu: where history meets haute cuisine in a collision of flavours that would make even Henry VIII's taste buds do a happy dance. From July 1st to August 31st, prepare to be whisked away on a culinary journey fit for royalty (or at least a particularly discerning monarch).

I dined at Wilton’s last night with friends and it was a blast. The crowd were a mixture of fantastic faces from the last two decades in politics and film.

A Taste of India on Mount Street: Discovering Jamavar

Jamavar, on Mount Street in London, draws inspiration from the Viceroy's house in New Delhi, marrying the opulence of India's bygone eras with the modernity of London's dining scene. The restaurant's name itself, is derived from the luxurious Jamavar shawls that symbolise Indian craftsmanship. Mount Street, known for its Victorian architecture and high-end boutiques, provided a fitting backdrop for the restaurant that aims to blend the rich culinary traditions of India with contemporary expectations.

CUT At 45 Park Lane - Excellence in Steaks

“We really should do this more often”. These are the words spoken by one of my oldest friends who had cancelled a business meeting to join me for dinner. It is not that we don’t meet up to eat regularly, we do often. It was the fact that this was in one of London’s finest steak restaurants - CUT at 45 Park Lane. Sometimes, an exceptional piece of meat, cooked medium rare, with great company is just what you need.

The Mitre Hampton Court Hotel

The Mitre Hampton Court Hotel: A Majestic Mizmaze

The Mitre Hampton Court Hotel is a luxurious boutique hotel overlooking the Thames that has been extensively refurbished. It was the first stop on our Ferrari F8 Spider Tributo tour and delivered exceptional food, decor and service with great panache.

Set like a gem on the north side of Hampton Court Bridge, it boasts a long terrace overlooking the water. Just opposite the Hampton Court Palace. Its origins date back to the reign of Henry VIII, built at the direction of Charles II as a hostel for Palace visitors.
